Kalm Aid is an effective liquid suspension which promotes relaxation and can help reduce nervous irritability. Kalm Aid is suitable for use in situations likely to cause fear or anxiety, such as thunderstorms, firework displays, owner separation, relocation or travelling. The product can also be used to help manage long-term behavioural issues.
Kalm Aid Ingredients
The product contains L-Tryptophan and green tea extract which cross the blood brain barrier and affect the central nervous system. L-Trytophan is a precursor for serontonin and increases serontonin levels. Green Tea Extract contains 1-2% L-Theanine. L-Theanine is known to increase the activity of GABA, a neurotransmitter (i.e. a natural messenger in the brain) that promotes relaxation and reduces anxiety. L-Theanine also stimulates the release of dopamine, a neurotransmitter responsible for confidence and sense of wellbeing.

Anxiety Management
For short term use: Give as above 1-2 hours in advance of an event likely to cause anxiety. Intake can be increased if required
(on advice from your local vet) for individual cases. As all pets are individuals, requirements may vary and a trial may be necessary to determine the appropriate amount.
For long-term management of behavioural problems: Give half the above amount daily. Reduce the amount given with improvement in behaviour.
Kalm Aid can be poured over food as required. Use the handy dosage cap on the top of the bottle for easy measuring.
